YOUR STORY DESERVES TO BE TOLD

(a private, one-to-one session for anyone trying to write their personal or family story...and not quite sure how to move forward)

Introducing:

The Open Door To Your Personal or Family Story.

You have a story. Maybe it's been sitting with you for years. Maybe you've started (and stopped) more than once. Maybe you've written something but it doesn't feel like the story you wanted to tell.

This session is a space to sit down, talk it through, and find your way forward. Just you, your story, and an hour to think clearly.

If you are...

  • at the beginning and don’t know how to start

  • part way through and feeling overwhelmed

  • finished… but it’s not quite the story you hoped it would be

Bring what's stuck and we'll unravel it together.

How this works...

  • Fill out the short form and tell me a little about your story and where you're stuck

  • I'll read your answers and reply within 48 hours

  • If I can help, I'll send you a link to choose a time that suits you

  • We meet. We talk. You leave with clarity and a clear next step.

"If you cannot get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance."

~ George Bernard Shaw

What's at the heart of this session?

It's about writing a personal or family story that people actually want to read. Not because every fact is in order, but because you've brought the art of great storytelling to the stories that matter most.

Whether you're sharing events that span generations, telling the story of a particular person, or making sense of your own history, the key is in that word: story.

Once upon a time isn't only for fairytales. It belongs to your family too.

This session is:

  • practical and grounded

  • story-led, not academic

  • supportive, not overwhelming

  • designed to help you move forward — wherever you are

This session is not:

  • a genealogy course

  • a writing bootcamp

  • a demand to write your entire history

  • a screenwriting or documentary course

  • or a place where anyone tells you how your story should be told

You don’t need to prepare. You don’t need to have done research. You don’t need to know how the story ends.

You only need a willingness to sit with your (or your family’s) story and explore what's holding you back or tripping you up.

Not a genealogy course. Not a memoir class. A conversation to help you move forward.

"Tell the story of the mountain you climbed. Your words could become a page in someone else’s survival guide."

— Morgan Harper Nichols

What Comes Next?

For some people, one session is exactly what they need. A single conversation that unlocks everything.

For others, it becomes the beginning of something larger: a structured journey from the first memory all the way to a finished story, told in your own voice, shaped to last.

There's no pressure either way. We begin, and we see where the story leads.

Your Invitation

If you feel the pull to write, tell, and share your personal or family story, this session is for you.
