Hello, and welcome! Tina Konstant here—author, storyteller, animal nut, wanna-be fiddle player, and working out how to be human on this weird, wild planet.
This is my home on the web, where I gather all my books, storytelling shenanigans, and my work with Peaceful Profits.
I’ve never done just one thing. And now that I’ve been on the planet a while, I’ve decided that’s perfectly okay. I follow ideas. I chase stories. I build what feels good, and a lot of it lands here.
On this site, you’ll find: All my books, including the Port Harker series, Story Frequency (previously Waffle-Free Storytelling), a short story collection, speed-reading guides, and a gentle invitation to join my email list for updates, thoughts, and behind-the-scenes bits.
If you are looking for ONE thing, and if that one thing is writing your personal or family story, you’ll want to start here.
So—have a wander, pick up a book or two, and above all:
Have a beautiful, story-shaped day.
— Tina
P.S. All books and stories are and always will be AI-free!

“The end of a story is like the end of a good meal. We’re sated but it doesn’t mean that we’ll never be hungry again.”
―
Kate Tellers, Director of MothWorks
Where the podcast is 100% waffle-free, there's life between the stories in the books. Recipes, a haiku or two, random facts and storytelling games that’ll help you keep friends, family, and kids entertained, no matter how wild the weather or random the audience. Enjoy!
This collection of tales were originally split between four books. All in one book now, the stories take you from birth to death, through good and evil, and include a healthy mix of odd, weird, unnatural, and random human behaviours, expectations, and natures. It’s life, after all.

Hello — I'm Tina Konstant. Storyteller, author, and fellow keeper of too many unwritten family memories.
I help people write the stories that matter most: the ones about where we came from, who shaped us, and what we want the people we love to carry forward.
You don't need to be a writer to do this. You just need the story, and somewhere to begin.
I grew up in Southern Africa and now live in Scotland, where most days involve a walk, a book, and on brave days, a swim in the sea.
I write novels, short stories, and how-to guides for people who want their stories to connect lives rather than gather dust.
I also host the StoryWrangle Podcast, a mix of feet-up story entertainment, and conversation about stories in all their forms.
But this - helping people write their family stories - is where it all began for me. And it's where I keep coming back.
If you're ready to start, I'd love to be part of it.
